I went out for a quick interval workout tonight. Here is the heart rate data. I did 2 x 10 min Sub LT(lactate threshold) intervals with 10 min rest between. Take notice at the interval part. Josh's earlier post summed up much of the TT. The course was windy and hilly. It was fast and times, it was slow at times. It was hot. It was painful. To borrow from Francis, I spent over an hour in that "unhappy place" that is the time trial zone. That is, I went to the redline, backed off a click or two, and stayed there. Pushed into the red at the end. Pushed way into the red.Was my bike fast?

When the whistle blows, I click into my pedals and make the only left turn on the course. I hear lots of people yelling “Go Sheila”! I only know 2 people who are spectating the Raccoon Rally Road race and it sounds like a dozen are yelling for me. Off I go, trying to hang with other riders as long as I can.
